Pakistan’s Tallest man Zia Rasheed breathed his last breath on Tuesday in the Vehari district of Punjab.
He had been facing various health issues including knee problem which ultimately resulted in the death of this young man.
People from various walks of life attended his funeral.
He was the tallest man in Pakistan at 15. He first experienced knee discomfort at the age of 20 and since then he remained a victim of knee-related complications for a long time.
Rasheed underwent three surgeries. He needs special care but the government did not bother to heed.
"His condition worsened over time due to the unsupportive attitude of the government,” his family said.
Rasheed had a normal childhood just like any other child but after his 12th birthday an incredible growth was seen in his height and by the age of 20 , he was 8ft tall - 3 inches away from beating the record of the world’s tallest man on earth.
