The price of gold Friday witnessed a slight jump, as the rupees extend fall after early day gain, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The price of 24-carat gold went up by Rs500 per tola.
With this flight of gold, the price of 24-carat gold reached Rs139,100.
The price of 10-gram gold of 24-carat has also surged by Rs429 to reach Rs119,256. The price of 10-gram gold of 22-carat has popped and now is being traded for Rs109,318.
The price of 24-carat silver remained stable by Rs1570.
The price of 10-gram silver is being traded for Rs1346.02 with same price.
In the international market, the price of gold per ounce has also increased by $11. The international rate for gold per ounce has now reached $1867.
