Former President Dr Arif Alvi visits Lahore to condole death of PTI worker

Former President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi Sunday visited Lahore to extend his condolences to the family of late PTI activist Latif Rafiq, reported 24NewwsHD TV channel.


Dr Alvi arrived in PP 161 Kot Lakhpat and met with the sons of the deceased, Bilal Latif and Hamza Latif, expressing his heartfelt sympathies.


During the visit, prayers were offered for Late Latif Rafiq. Senior PTI leader Azam Khan Swati, member of the Public Accounts Committee Sheikh Waqas Akram, and several other PTI members, including Imran Niazi, Farid Munir, Umar Rafiq, Muhammad Ali, and Member Provincial Assembly Farrukh Javed Moon, were also present.


Dr. Arif Alvi is scheduled to visit the Punjab Assembly on Monday at 1 pm, where he will meet members of the Assembly of the Sunni Unity Council.


He will provide instructions regarding upcoming workers' conventions in various cities of Punjab. Following his visit to the Punjab Assembly, Dr. Alvi will depart for Mianwali.
