The Government of Pakistan has written a letter to the British government seeking Nawaz Sharif’s deportation from the UK where he went on medical grounds after getting bail from court.
The foreign ministry wrote a letter in this regard, informing the UK authorities about the current status of Nawaz Sharif that his bail has been expired. The letter which was written in the light of the Punjab Government’s recommendations to the federal government read that Nawaz Sharif must not be extended any further relief on health grounds.
In its recent decision, the Punjab Medical Board comprising three provincial ministers including the Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid had concluded that Nawaz Sharif did not qualify to be given further extension in his bail as he had requested.
The medical board said despite seeking bail on the health grounds neither did Nawaz was admitted to the hospital in London, nor did he send back his fresh medical reports, the condition he was required to fulfil under the terms that allowed the ailing PML-N leader to go abroad. For the pursuance of Nawaz Sharif’s case any further, the Punjab government had transferred the matter to the federal government.
