Zardari sees early defeat to misogynistic approach

March 3, 2020 04:25 PM

While expressing his support to the women’s march, former president Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday directed the Sindh government to provide protection and facilities to the women.

He said “Pakistan Peoples Party fully supports and ensures women rights and Benazir Bhutto’s was the torch-bearer of the women empowerment,” adding that the misogynistic approach would be defeated soon.

Zardari also said that the PPP is a staunch believer of the philosophy of the founder of the party Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto. “It was the BB who defeated ruthless dictatorship,” adding that now BB’s successors, Bakhtawar and Aseefa Bhutto, are the voice and the source of women’s power in Pakistan.
