The Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) has still reservations about the ongoing first-ever ‘digital population census’, 24NewsHd TV channel reported on Friday.
MQM Member Sindh Assembly Basit Siddiqui has written a letter to the Census Commissioner showing reservations about the census.
He alleged in the letter that many families residing in the Sarjani Town apartments have not been counted.
A number of such complaints has been received in other towns like Mangho Pir, he added.
Despite the passage of many days in Taiser Town, the census staff could not reach and the census team is showing disinterest in Mangho Peer too.
It is feared that like the previous census, this census will also be controversial.
Actions should be taken to address our concerns, he added.
