NADRA offices will reopen across the country on Monday (May 4).
According to an advisory issued by the NADRA for the applicants, people must call the helpline 7000 for important information before visiting any NADRA office. NADRA has already extended the date for renewal of the computerized national identity cards expiring between September 2019 and June 30, 2020 until July 2020.
In the new situation, people visiting the NADRA offices for new registration and biometric verification of their documents would be accommodated on priority. People who have already submitted their documents for comupterised national identity cards should contact the NADRA offices to receive their cards after July 15.
Wearing a facemask, having your temperature checked and getting your hands sanitized are some of the conditions everybody would have to meet before entering a NADRA office. People seeking NICOP (national identity card for overseas Pakistanis) and POC (Pakistan Origin Card) should use the online registration service in order to save themselves from any hassle as temperatures rise in every part of the country.
Visitors to NADRA offices must follow the instructions displayed outside and inside the NADRA offices and must observe social distancing strictly.
