Ahead of the Saudi businessmen delegation’s visit to Pakistan in the next few days, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has constituted a 16-member Steering Committee under the chair of the Petroleum Minister, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The 16-member Steering Committee will be responsible for the business meetings and security of the Saudi delegation. While the Trade Ministry will provide Secretarial support to the committee and the visiting delegation.
It is pertinent to mention that the Saudi delegation is visiting Pakistan to explore business and investment opportunities in the country on the invitation of PM Shehbaz Sharif.
Federal Ministers for Trade, Privatizations, Power, Industry as well Production will be the members of the committee.
Moreover, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and the Secretary SIFC will also be the member of the committee.
The Deputy Chairman Planning Commission, Minister of State for IT, and Secretaries of Interior, Power, Petroleum, IT, Trade and Investment Board will be the members of the committee.
