PTI leader Asad Umar, in a video message Thursday, revealed that party chairman Imran Khan has named three suspects who could be behind today’s attack.

“Shortly before this video, Imran Khan called us and told us to convey this message to the nation on his behalf. He said that he had received some information earlier as well.

“He said that he believes three people were involved in the attack,” Umar said.

He said Imran Khan received pellet injuries on the thigh and leg bone and he is out of danger.

Umar said Imran always claimed that he is ready to sacrifice his life for the real freedom of the country and after today's incident no one should have a doubt regarding this.

Mian Aslam Iqbal said they were going to register FIR against three suspects named by Imran Khan and demanded immediate removal of these three from their posts.

He said Imran wanted these people removed from their posts and if it does not happen there would be a countrywide protest.

Iqbal said Punjab chief minister has ordered to form a high-level JIT to probe the incident.
