Departmental Promotion Board of Islamabad Police issued a notification regarding the promotion of 240 officers of Islamabad police, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to the details, Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG) Islamabad Dr. Syed Mustafa Tanveer presided over a special meeting of the Departmental Promotion Board which approved the promotion of the officers.
On this occasion, Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi said that to get a promotion is a basic right of every police official.
He said that these promotions will have a positive impact on the performance of Islamabad Police and will also boost their morale.
