Saudi Arabia on Saturday allowed another airline to start operations in Pakistan.

According to sources, Saudi airline ‘flyadeal’ approached the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Pakistan to begin operations in the South Asian country. The CAA has reportedly approved a slot of 11 flights per week for ‘flyadeal’. The airline will begin its operations in Pakistan soon.

Last year at a meeting with Pakistan's aviation minister, Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki thanked the Pakistani authorities for allowing Saudi airlines flyadeal and Riyadh Air to start flights for Pakistan.

Saudi Arabia’s low-cost airline flyadeal based in Jeddah started flight operations on September 23, 2017, with a fleet of Airbus A320 family aircraft. Riyadh Air as the second flag carrier of Saudi Arabia is planning to start flight operations with a fleet of Boeing 787 aircraft.
