A wildfire that started yesterday in the Pinghora Dhokan Syedan forest of Abbottabad remains uncontrolled, leading to extensive destruction, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Sunday.
According to the channel report, hundreds of valuable trees and thousands of plants have been destroyed as the fire spreads across the mountainous terrain.
Due to the lack of roads in the area, rescue teams are facing severe difficulties in reaching the site, relying on foot travel to navigate the rugged forest.
So far, a major rescue operation to control the blaze has not been initiated, leaving the fire unchecked since last night.
