Another man who was critically injured by the firing of dacoits who attacked a cash van of a bank in Sector G-9, Islamabad died today in a local hospital, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to details, last week some dacoits attacked a cash van of private bank in Sector G-9 Islamabad.
On resistance the dacoits opened fire with Kalashnikov in which three employees of a local hotel adjacent to the bank were critically injured from which two employees died and another is critically wounded and admitted in a local hospital.
Both deceased employees were identified as Haider Khattak and Nazid Shinwari.
Earlier, on October 29 2024, a brave security guard foiled a bank robbery attempt by sacrificing his life in Islamabad's G-9 area.
According to police, one security guard was killed and two other persons who were employees of restaurant adjacent to the bank were seriously injured due to the firing of by the robbers.
It may be mentioned here that this was the third attempt by the criminals to rob a bank or loot cash vans.
Prior to this these dacoits tried to loot two bank cash vans in the federal capital but both were foiled by the security guards.
