We will try to avoid mistakes in World Cup: Babaz Azam

Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam addressed a press conference after losing the series at Qaddafi Stadium Lahore on Sunday and said they got a chance to learn a lot and will now try to remove their mistakes.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, Babar said the seven matches’ series with England was important before the World Cup.

He said it is a fact that whenever wickets fall, pressure comes to the team. He said the middle order is not performing that is a worry on which coaching staff is working.

About the future strategy, he said that they will definitely talk about how to take this team up.

Talking about the poor fielding, he said two catches were dropped, that should not have been.

He said they have already played very good cricket in Australia and will try to perform again.

Babar said it was difficult to chase 200 runs after losing early wickets. He said their plan did not work from the start of the match.

He said they will sit and talk about what went wrong. He said they are missing Shaheen Afridi and hopes to have him back soon.
