Celebrated Pakistani actress Hira Mani appeared as a guest on Jawad Bashir’s podcast 'JAMMIN JB' where she spoke about her career, life, and family.
During the conversation with the host, she said that life has changed her very peacefully and smoothly and made her according to it.
"Zindagi jo chahti this me wo ban gai hun" (Life has transformed me and has taken me on a journey into the person life wants me to be, embracing every step of the way), she said.
"Life wanted me to be a person having 'tahamul mizaji' (patience), listen and understand people, give no reaction, and not think about yourself.
"To be selfless is the end of world", she said.
"Life teaches you everything as it's your biggest teacher and it's sad who does not learn from life. Happiness is a practice and no one is happy always. We should not apply the practice of happiness on ourselves but apply it on others and be happy in other's happiness", she added.
"I have happiness for others in my heart naturally", she concluded.
Talking about true love she said it's all filmy.
"Love is a good and interesting thing but in reality, love is not an important thing in my opinion but 'adat' (habit) is", she said.
Hira talked about how everything in showbiz is fake. She said that yes they have to show this larger-than-life side of everything and they show all this glamour as they are paid to show this fake world to the audience but nothing is real.
She also shared that sometimes when she watches a film like Maula Jatt, she envies that she could have probably done such a role but then when she enters her home and she looks at her children, she forgets everything. Hira said that motherhood reminds her that for her children, only she can be their mom and no one else could take that place. This keeps her from getting envious and makes her happy.
