Popular television actress Yumna Ziadi has said that if she wasn’t into acting she would have become a TikTok star.

In the famous show Gupshup with Shaishta, Yumna said: “Whenever I feel bore I open the app of TikTok and I don’t even realise an hour has gone watching the videos.”

She further added, “I feel the people using TikTok are so talented, at least more talented than me. The best part is if your content is good it goes viral. Sometimes I think if I wasn’t into acting, I would have been making TikTok videos in someone else voice. It would have been a lot of fun.”

Yumna Zaidi is an extremely versatile and undoubtedly one of the most talented actresses of the television industry.

She’s been part of two prominent, socially relevant projects on television that stood out in the last couple of years; Dar Si Jati Hai (2018) and Inkaar (2019) will be remembered as landmark serials.

Directed by Kashif Nisar, they tackled the issue of harassment and Yumna essayed the role of the protagonist in both the dramas.

She delivered strong performances – a sexually harassed, scarred young woman Sila in the former and a strong and confident Hajra in Inkaar.
