The Lahore High Court will take up the plea against the cancellation of the interim bails of PTI chief Imran Khan in connection with the May 9 riots.
An anti-terrorism court dismissed the bail pleas of PTI chairman Imran Khan in the May 9 riot cases.
The Lahore High Court was moved and a bench consisting of Justice Alia Neelam and Justice Asjad Javed will hear the petition on September 4.
Imran Khan challenged the ATC decision through Barrister Salman Safdar, making party the Atock jail superintendent and others.
The petitioner is being targeted for political revenge, the petitioner told the court adding that as soon as the court suspended the Tosha Khan verdict, the police arrested him in other cases.
The court is requested that the bail please be heard on merit.
