Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Founder Imran Khan said the Nawaz League government raises the May 9 issue whenever negotiations are proposed as it is an "insurance policy" for its survival.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, talking to the media men in the courtroom in Adiala Jail on Monday the PTI founder suggested forming a judicial commission to investigate the May 9 incident.
PTI founder Imran Khan also emphasised that those who ordered his abduction and manipulated CCTV footage were behind the May 9 conspiracy.
Imran Khan confirmed a dialogue seasoned politician Mahmood Khan Achakzai with the government is undergoing, as he is ready to negotiate with those in real authority and not with those aligned with PML-N, as it will be equated to accepting electoral fraud.
He also accused Nawaz Sharif of hypocritically shifting from criticising the military to aligning with it, citing it as a potential entry in the Guinness Book of World Records. He added that despite favourable conditions, Nawaz Sharif failed even when playing with biassed umpires, referencing a report alleging that 74,000 votes were manipulated in favour of Nawaz Sharif against PTI's Yasmin Rashid.
Imran Khan criticised the PML-N leaders, including Khawaja Asif and Ahsan Iqbal, for their past derogatory remarks against the military, especially in which Ahsan Iqbal declared the military as 'state into the state'.
He outlined three objectives for PTI’s rally on September 8: restoring PTI’s stolen mandate, liberating the country from occupiers, and ensuring an independent judiciary.
He also mentioned his candidacy for Chancellor at Oxford University, describing it as an honour for Pakistan. Regardless of the outcome, he highlighted his achievements, stating that no one in Pakistan's cricket history has reached his level and that he is the country’s biggest philanthropist. He reiterated his contributions, including establishing two hospitals, two universities, and a third university under construction.
