Deputy Speaker’s Ruling Issue: SBC calls for boycott court proceedings today

On the issue of the National Assembly Deputy Speaker’s ruling against the no-confidence motion and dissolution of the assembly, Sindh Bar Council (SBC) has announced a strike across the province today (Tuesday).

According to the 24News HD TV channel, SBC Vice-Chairman Zulfiqar Ali Jalbani termed the Deputy Speaker’s ruling and dissolution of the assembly an unconstitutional and illegal act.

The SBC vice president said lawyers will not appear in court on Tuesday, April 5 and will boycott court proceedings in all courts across the province including Sindh High Court (SHC).
