The All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) delegation headed by its Pattern in Chief Aptama Gohar Ejaz called on Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar on Tuesday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, APTMA head Gohar Ejaz informed the federal minister about the problems of the textile sector and the industrialists.
The APTMA delegations told the minister that exports of the textile industry are decreasing as the LCs of the textile industry are yet to be opened while the tax refunds are also not being released.
The delegation also told the finance minister that competitive rates of electricity and gas are also not being provided to the textile industry.
In the meeting, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar assured the APTMA delegation to solve the problems of the textile industry.
