On the death anniversary of late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, hundreds of Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM) employees staged a sit-in protest at the mills' hammer gate in favor of their demands, reported 24ewsHD TV channel.
They shouted slogans in support of their demands, saying, today is the death anniversary of founder of the Steel Mills, and on this day, we beg for the lives of thousands of families.
They stated that thousands of families are going hungry as a result of the closure of the mills and demanded the immediate release of their salaries as well.
They added that many workers lost their lives after being sacked because they were unable to provide for their families.
They warned that the sit-ins will continue until their demands were met.
