The Islamabad High Court granted former member of national assembly (MNA) Rashid Shafiq a five-day bail to on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The court also ordered police to refrain from arresting the former lawmaker.
Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri conducted the hearing on the plea of Rashid Shafiq. Advocate Sardar Abdul Raziq represented the former MNA.
The court ordered the former parliamentarian to submit Rs20,000 surety bond.
