Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Shahdara Teaching Hospital in Lahore late on Thursday.
As patients made complaints about staff shortages, the CM telephoned the health secretary and directed him to increase the number of doctors during the night shift.
He also directed the health secretary to immediately provide AC and other such facilities. The CM issued directives to shift a diabetic child to Services Hospital and another patient Mukhtar to PIC.
He commended Dr Zarmina for her dedication.
Earlier in the day, the chief minister visited a police station and punished negligent and corrupt cops. He also directed the top cop to bring betterment to the police station.
