Two people were killed and another three injured in different incidents of robberies in 12 hours in the Sindh capital, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.
An armed motorcyclist allegedly killed a security guard as he resisted the robbery.
The deceased was identified as Qamaruddin Junejo.
In another incident, 41-year-old Mubasher Iqbal was stabbed to death near Shamim Mosque in Bhatai Colony.
Twenty-three-year-old Gul Nawab sustained injuries during a robbery near Pracha Cemetery.
Police claimed to have nailed a robbery suspect and injured another in a shoutout at Saadi Town.
The lawmen have launched a hunt for the criminals.
