Jamaat-e-Islami's sit-ins continue in Rawalpindi and Karachi in protest against inflation and high electricity prices.
In Rawalpindi, party members are gathered on Murree Road in front of Liaquat Bagh, serving naan and halwa to the participants for breakfast on Sunday.
The JI workers performed Fajr prayers at the protest site.
As per the channel report, no significant progress has been made on their demands so far.
Meanwhile, in Karachi, the second day of the sit-in is taking place outside the Governor House.
Jamaat-e-Islami leader Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman is scheduled to address the protestors today.
Canopies have been set up to protect participants from the rain.
JI Karachi leader Munim Zafar stated, "We are protesting against expensive electricity, load shedding, overbilling, inflation, rising unemployment, and the unjust agreements with IPPs.
We pray that there is no heavy rain, but regardless of the weather, the sit-in will continue."
