Federal Minister for Law Azam Nazir Tarar has said the government will hold by-elections in the provinces if the assemblies are dissolved, reported 24newsHD TV channel.
In a media talk on Saturday, he said that we will not seek any legal support and will compete with PTI in the elections if the assemblies are dissolved. “PTI must fulfil its desire to break the provincial assemblies,” he added.
He recalled that politics was all about resolving issues through dialogue, but Imran Khan did not even shake hands with the then leaders of the opposition during his stint as Prime Minister.
Azam Tarar was of the view that Imran Khan has set bad traditions during his tenure as PM as he didn’t bother to consult the opposition on key constitutional appointments. Imran Khan never negotiated with the opposition members before on crucial issues, he hinted.
Tarar further said now Imran Khan has agreed to dialogue adding, “it’s the attitude required for a politician”.
