Saudi Arabia, Iran condemn attack on Pakistan embassy in Kabul

Saudi Arabia Saturday severely condemned the attack on Pakistan’s Democratic office in Kabul and the murder attempt on Pakistani Charge d’affaires Ubaid Nizamani.

The Foreign Affairs Ministry of Saudi Arabia issued a statement which said: “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia strongly condemns the armed attack on the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the Afghan capital Kabul, and the failed assassination attempt on the Charge d’affaires of the Embassy of Pakistan.”

The Saudi Arabia Ministry of Foreign Affairs reasserted that the Kingdom stands “firm and conscious” to renounce violence and terrorism wherever it is.

The statement given by the Foreign affairs ministry also assured solidarity and support for Pakistan and its people facing terrorism.

Iran also condemned the attack on Pakistani Embassy in the Afghan capital of Kabul. The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs representative Nasser Kanani strongly condemned the armed attack on Pakistani Embassy in Kabul.
