Incompetent PTI destroyed economy built by Dar: Marriyum

February 4, 2020 05:45 PM

PMLN Secretary Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has claimed that Imran is dreaming about the Hoors [virgin women] of heaven while damning the people of Pakistan to the depths of economic hell.

In a statement, she alleged that under this incompetent regime the country is facing the worse financial crisis wherein the businesses and factories have shut down and workers are starving to death.

She said the statistical data has blown the lid off Imran's lies and false promises regarding economic recovery and the nation is now in state of panic.

Marriyum said the PMLN government showed the best performance under worst circumstances while the PTI government was handed over a country with 5.8 growth which Imran has turned into the worst nightmare.

She said Prime Minister Imran Khan's arrogance, false pride, lies and corruption have driven a progressing country into a well. Whereas, PMLN not only provided relief to the masses but also completed mega projects worth billions of rupees.

The former Information Minister said PMLN gave the single largest development project worth Rs1,000 billion. Ishaq Dar took over while the country had an 8.8% deficit which he brought down to 4.6% within a matter of 3 years.

With Dar's hardwork, she said, FBR's tax collection increased by 60%. PMLN increased BISP by 250% while the development budget doubled under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif and the value of the national currency also stabilised.

Marriyum said the only thing this PTI government has done over the past 16 years is the persecution of opposition leaders through false cases. Ishaq Dar was punished for his service to the nation and a massive smear campaign was run to defile him whereas international financial institutions had acknowledged and lauded his work.

She said Imran's only performance indicator is looting of national wealth through corruption. Imran Khan cannot mend the economy he destroyed by defiling Dar because he lacks the basic requirements for this job - which are devotion, honesty, hard work, competence and dedication to public service.
