Actor Muneeb Butt recently appeared in Nida Yasir's Good Morning Pakistan show for the promotion of his upcoming drama serial Sar-e-Rah.

He talked about the difficulties he faced while bracing for the role of a transgender.

He chose this role on his own though he was offered another role.

Muneeb Butt expressed his dedication to the work.

He asked director Ahmad Bhatti about it but he refused, saying that they will offer that character to someone else.

 “I sought the script and I sent an audition on my own.

"They didn’t want it but I sent it. I prepared everything, I made a video, edited it and added the music too and sent it back at 5:am.

He said he had a clean shave for the character, waxed his arms and got his eyebrows done although no one asked him.

He said did it himself so that he could do justice to the character.

"I am really excited to announce that I am playing a very unique character of the first Trans assistant commissioner in my upcoming project. Something that breaks stereotypes in our society.”
