Armed gunmen shot dead a mother of five children after barging into her house over an issue of second marriage in Daska, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Two unidentified assailants stormed into Ishrat’s house located in the jurisdiction of Saddar Police Station in Mohallah Younusabad and sprayed her with bullets.
Sources said that the deceased woman got divorce from her husband two years ago and married a man of her choice.
It was also the second marriage of her present husband who was later identified as Samiullah.
Soon after receiving the report of the murder, a police team rushed to the crime scene and shifted the dead body to a hospital.
The gunmen who were involved in the murder managed to escape from the scene.
Police after registering a case of murder against the two accused started investigation.
