40 Afghan prisoners released in Quetta

At least 40 Afghan prisoners who remained in jails despite completing their imprisonment periods were released from Quetta Jail on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The Afghan nationals were arrested under a foreign act and Chief Minister Balochistan Principal Secretary Imran Taj Gichki paid their fines from his pocket. The released Afghanis were handed over to the Afghan authorities at the Chaman border.
