Another facilitator of Islamabad suicide blast arrested

The law enforcers on Wednesday arrested an important player of the last month’s suicide blast in Islamabad’s I-10/4 Sector, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The law enforcers arrested a 20-year-old suspect identified as Zakirullah. He is resident of Tehsil Bara. 

According to sources, accused Zakir played a role of a facilitator in the suicide attack in the federal capital. During their raid, the law enforcers recovered a suicide jacket from his possession. 

The law personnel also took into custody Zakir’s close friend Saqib.

These two arrests were made on the pointation of other facilitators held by the law enforcers.

On Dec 27, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that some suspects involved in the suicide blast that left a policeman martyred and several others injured were arrested.  

The outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) had claimed responsibility for the attack.

In his tweet, the interior minister confirmed that the miscreants and their handlers behind the attack had been arrested.
