Air Commodore Sajjad Haider laid to rest

Air Commodore (Retired) Sajjad Haider was laid to rest in Islamabad on Saturday. His funeral prayers were offered in the cricket ground at the Air Headquarters in the federal capita. 

Haider had taken an active part in the Pakistan-India wars of 1965 and 1971. He was known for leading the Pathankot Airbase attack in the 1965 war. He downed found Indian warplanes and destroyed 11 military tanks during the war. Also, he was author of the book titled “Flight of The Falcon”.
