The National Command and Operation Centre has outlawed sacrificial animals’ trade inside the city for Eidul Azha, besides directing the Covid-19 vaccination mandatory for all staff and traders of the cattle markets, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the guidelines issued by the NCOC on Sunday, all cattle markets for the trade of sacrificial animals would be established outside the cities. The administration has been asked to fully ensure the compliance of Covid-19 Standard Operating Procedures.

The NCOC directed to vaccinate all staff and traders of cattle markets. It also ordered the administration to provide the facilities of hand sanitizers, masks and Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) at the entry points of cattle trade markets.

On the other hand, a delegation headed by NCOC director general visited Gilgit-Baltistan to monitor the vaccination campaign over there. The delegation visited inoculation centres in Gilgit, Shuggar and Hunza. It has been decided that the registered population of the tourist areas in Gilgit will be 100% inoculated.

A special team has been formed to bring about improvement in the vaccination campaign and to prevent coronavirus pandemic in GB.

According to NCOC, 10.67 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been administered so far. In the month of June, more than 0.83 million people have been inoculated.
