Ten flights are scheduled to be operated from Allama Iqbal International Airport on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Five flights will land at Lahore Airport while another five flights will take off for their respective destinations.
According to details, Qatar Airways flight QR620 will reach Lahore with 200 passengers while it would make its return journey to Doha as QR 621 empty.
SereneAir flight ER 520 reached Lahore from Karachi early morning and returned to Karachi as ER 521 at 11 O'clock. Another SereneAir flight ER 524 will reach Lahore from Karachi at 8:45 pm and will go back to Karachi as ER 525 at 9:45 pm.
Moreover, PIA's special flight PK785 will leave for London at 1 pm and PIA flight PK8792 carrying Pakistanis from Doha will arrive in Lahore at 2 pm. Another PIA flight PK 305 will leave for Karachi at 7 pm. Emirates flight EK622 will bring Pakistanis from Dubai to Lahore at 10 pm.
It is pertinent to mention that the significant reductions in flights due to coronavirus has massively reduced revenues for airlines and forced many airlines to lay off employees or declare bankruptcy but as the world prepares for opening up businesses under strict SOPs, the airline industry is also laying out procedures for the resumption of normal flight operations.
Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority also has driven out SOPs and allowed the resumption of limited domestic operations.
