Imran pledges to allocate funds for new census in meeting with MQM

Prime Minister Imran Khan has promised to allocate funds for the fresh census in the next budget in a meeting with the MQM delegation, reported 24News HD TV channel.
The MQM delegation met with the PM on Friday where they demanded a fresh census in Karachi and Hyderabad.
The PM said the government would not ignore Sindh’s city areas in the next budget. He said the MQM was their ally and they would accept the legitimate demands of the party.
The PM told the delegation that he had sent the interior minister to Karachi to check on the law and order situation there.
The MQM delegation also raised the issue of fake domiciles of city areas of Karachi and Hyderabad.
The PM promised the action against those responsible for the issuance of fake domiciles. He said the water and sewerage, as well as development projects, would be the preference of his government.
He said the MQM was their ally and they would stand by it at every place.
The delegation was comprised Information Technology Minister Amin-ul-Haq, Senator Faisal Sabzwari, Khalid Maqbool Siddique, Javed Hanif, Amir Khan, Wasim Akhtar, and Kanwar Naveed Jameel. Sindh Governor Imran Ismail was also present on the occasion.
The delegation members informed the PM regarding challenges facing by the population of Karachi and Hyderabad. They also pledged their full support for passing the upcoming budget. They thanked the PM for the Karachi package and stressed the need to act on the package.
The PM said Karachi was the economic hub of the country and its progress was a progress of the country. He said the government would play a key role in solving the issues facing by Karachi and Sindh.
