Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif left for a 5-day visit to China today, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.
According to the report, the Prime Minister will visit Beijing and Xi'an from June 4 to 8.
The Prime Minister will meet with the Chinese President and government officials. Business partnership agreements will also be signed during his visit to China.
The sources said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will invite the Chinese President to visit Pakistan.
During the visit to China, there will be consultations on progress on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects and the second phase of CPEC.
There will be important agreements in trade and other sectors including Chinese investment in Pakistan.
