A hearing-impaired man attempted to assault a three-year-old minor criminally in Taranda Muhammad Pannah area of Liaquatpur Tehsil on Tuesday.

Timely action by the police, however, averted ordeal of the three-year-old toddler.

According to a police spokesperson, the policemen of Taranda Muhammad Pannah were on patrol when they heard alarms being raised by the minor.

The policemen rushed towards him and found that a hearing-impaired man was attempting to assault the three-year-old minor by hanging him from a tree.

The police caught the accused and returned the minor to his family. The Taranda Muhammad Pannah Police have registered a case against the beast on directives of DPO Muntazir Mehdi  

WOMAN RAPED AT HOME

A woman was raped at her home when she was alone on Tuesday. The incident occurred in Uch Sharif when two accused identified as: Javed and Gul Zaman barged into the woman’s house when she was alone. The former raped her while latter kept on guard with a gun in hand.

The accused fled the scene when husband of the victim came home. The victim identified as Kalsoom has appealed to the chief minister to provide her justice.

The police have started investigation with no arrest till filing of this report.
