The recently-held Senate elections have exposed the second marriage of newly-elected Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s senator Faisal Vawda with anchorperson Saadia Afzaal, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Thursday.
The news confirmed when the 24NewsHD TV got a copy of the affidavit submitted by Faisal Vawda in which he has declared Saadia Afzaal as his second wife.
He has three daughters, Alyzeh Vawda, Shanaya Fesal and Misha Fesal, from his first wife Nazli Vawda.
A day earlier, a tweet from Saadia Afzaal created a huge stir on social media when she took to Twitter to post a picture with newly-elected Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s senator Faisal Vawda to congratulate him for his election.

Soon after the post, there was a flood of comments suggesting Saadia Afzaal has married Vawda and the anchorperson neither denied the factor nor admitted it completely.
However, she continued to thank people and responding in a way that showed that they are a married couple.
The rumours of the marriage of Faisal Vawda and Saadia Afzaal were for in the media for quite some time.
Faisal Vawda has been elected Senator from Sindh on a PTI ticket and has also resigned as MNA from the national assembly where he was supposed to be disqualified for hiding his dual nationality. After the post, many ask Saadia whether she married Vawda.
