A bride was hospitalised after she accidentally swallowed a bullet in Shah Latif Town of Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

According to police, the newly-married woman was shifted to Jinnah Hospital after she compained severe stomachache.

The woman's husband said he was cleaning his pits and the bullets were lying on the table..

His wife decided to play with the bullets but unfortunately her playful act turned into a sad incident.

She jokingly placed one of the bullets on her tongue but all of a sudden the bullet went inside.

X-rays taken at the hospital of the bride clearly showed the bullet resting in her stomach.

Despite the seriousness of the situation, the bride's family refused to take any legal action against their son-in-law.
