Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday criticised the government for suspending transmission of 24NewsHD TV.

Speaking to the news channel, Bilawal said the incumbent government led by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is carrying out attacks on the media. He said that 24NewsHD TV is a voice of truth and Imran Khan suspended transmission of the news channel to suppress the truth. He said that Imran Khan wanted to make every institution a tiger force.

The government had initially suspended licence of 24NewsHD TV weeks ago for different reasons and then forced the news channel to go offline.
