The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Wednesday extended the bail of PML-N leader and husband of Maryam Nawaz Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar as his case could not be heard due to a strike by lawyers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to newsmen in Peshawar, Captain Safdar said as many as 300 inquiries were conducted against him but nothing came out from any of them.
He claimed: “I have been victimized because of revengeful actions and now is the time to make amendments in the National Accountability Bureau.”
He demanded setting up universities in NAB offices.
He claimed the government is about to go and elections are going to be held and resignations of big guns are expected too.
Safdar congratulated the newly elected president of Supreme Court Bar Association Latif Afridi.
Safdar alleged his life is in danger from the NAB chairman as the Bureau is being used for political purposes.
The PML-N leader said December 22 public rally in Lahore would be a historic rally. He said: “If anything happens in the public rallies then all the responsibility lies on the Interior Minister Ejaz Shah.”
“Khyber Pakhtunkhwa suffered a lot in the Afghan war,” he maintained.
