Engineer Aizaz Ahmed, Managing Director of National Transmission and Dispatch Company, has resigned due to differences with the Board of Directors of the company.
According to details, the Federal Cabinet approved the appointment of Engineer Aizaz Ahmed as Managing Director of NTDC, after which Aizaz Ahmed returned from Canada and took charge of his post on August 5.
Disagreements began to arise between the two boards of directors, as differences escalated, Aizaz Ahmed resigned from the post during a meeting on Wednesday.
His resignation was approved by the board of directors and a summary was sent to the power division for temporary appointment.
It is to be noted that Fayyaz Ahmed, an engineer from Canada, was also sacked earlier due to a breakdown.
