Pakistani rally star Salma Marwat gets bail before arrest in murder case

Well known Pakistani rally star Salma Marwat Khan allegedly booked in a murder case of a boy Wednesday got bail before arrest from a court of Islamabad.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Islamabad Police Station Shalimar had raided three different places including the house of the accused last night to arrest her.
The accused Salma Marwat Khan who has won many jeep races has provided a copy of her bail before arrest to the Islamabad police.
She has allegedly killed a youth and injured another as her jeep hit a motorbike in front of the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) College in Sector F-11 Markaz in Islamabad yesterday night and run away from the scene leaving her jeep there.
Islamabad Police Station Shalimar registered an FIR against an unknown female driver on behalf of Zahoor Ahmed—the father of the victim boy who lost his life in the accident.
The FIR stated: “A jeep coming from Margalla Road hit my sons in front of OPF College. My son, Shabbir Hussain, was hospitalized but succumbed to his injuries while my second son is still in hospital’s emergency ward in critical condition.”
FIR stated that the female driver who was recognized as Salma Marwat Khan fled the scene leaving behind her jeep.
Ms Marwat hailed from the Chashma area in Kundian, district Mianwali. Recently, she won Chakwal’s 4by4 off-road rally challenge after completing the track in 22:09:40 seconds.
She won multiple titles in car racing in recent years.
