The PPP leader said the coalition government has always kept its door open to hold dialogues with the opponent. “Democracy is the name of dialogue, not a deadlock,” Kaira said.
He said that if there is a positive response from Tehreek-e-Insaaf, the federal government reps will go for inquiring after Imran Khan.
Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has been admitted to Shaukat Khanum Hospital after an assassination attempt that left him with a gunshot wound to the leg on Thursday.
Qamar Zaman Kaira further urged the opposition to show patience to keep the situation balanced. “We support dialogue and also recognize the right to protest,” he said adding that negotiations are always unconditional.
