In a bid to determine the killer of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) worker Mauzam Gondal, police have decided to conduct forensic examination of weapons of attacker Naveed and security guards present on the container.

Probing the murder of PTI worker Mauzam has become a test case for police. The autopsy report of the victim and analysis of bullets would further reveal the facts.

Police have broaden the circle of investigation after getting the statement of attacker Naveed. Police investigating the matter from different angels.

In a leaked video statement, attacker Naveed said that the man who was trying to grab me got hit by a bullet fired from the container. He further said that bullets were fired at him from the container.

He also said in a video statement that he informed his family that he is going to Wazirabad to do an important task. He also added that he asked his family to pray for success of his mission. Naveed said that he used to work in Saudi Arabia but he left that country when KSA accepted Israel. 

Funeral prayers of slain PTI worker Mauzam offered

Slain Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) worker Mauzam Gondal on Friday laid to rest amid grief and sorrow in his hometown Wazirabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

A heavy contingent of police was deployed at the funeral of Mauzam to avoid any untoward incident. However, no prominent leader of PTI were present at the funeral prayers of Mauzam.

It is pertinent to mention here that Mauzam was killed during an armed attack on long march container apparently aimed at assassination of PTI chief Imran Khan.
