There is no letup in smog, which continues to engulf Lahore and its suburbs as the air quality index (AQI) in the city rose to 467 on Saturday, again making it the most polluted city, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Due to hazardous air quality, people are experiencing breathing issues and irritation in their eyes.
Experts, on the other hand, have advised people to exercise caution.
They have counselled them to avoid unnecessary travelling and wear facemasks before leaving their homes.
The AQI over Lahore Cantonment was recorded at 518, 423 over Phase-8 in Defence Housing Authority (DHA), 401 over Aitchison College and 467 over The Mall.
