NAB chairman pledges not to spare looters

NAB not to Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Javed Iqbal has said the NAB is committed to rooting out corruption by pursuing a policy of accountability for all, reporting 24NewsHD TV on Sunday.

 The NAB's anti-corruption strategy has been very effective and successful in bringing the mega corruption cases of white-collar crime to a logical conclusion, he added. 

The NAB has filed 93 out of 179 mega corruption cases in the accountability courts while 66 references have been disposed of in accordance with the law.

The NAB, directly and indirectly, recovered the looted amount of Rs.539 billion which is a record milestone. At present, 1278 references of corruption of NAB are being heard in the esteemed accountability courts of the country with a total value of more than Rs.1305 billion.
