Authorities have suspended train service in Sindh following the complaint of drivers about unsafe and unusable tracks because of floods.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, train drivers and staff have declared the Sindh track unsafe and usable and reported to the Sukkur railways chapter.

There is water on the track, and sabotage or technical failure can lead to major accidents, the drivers warned.

The authorities have suspended the service and issued directives to divisions concerned not to book tickets from October 4 to October 20.

Booking of tickets was stopped on the recommendation of DS Sukkur.
