Strongly condemning Israel’s aggression against Palestine and Lebanon, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday announced his party’s participation in the protest demonstration announced by the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) against the Zionist state on October 7, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Speaking to newsmen after meeting with Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, Bilawal said that
despite differences, the entire nation should be on the same page when it came to the state of Israel’s atrocities.
He said the government must come forward and help the people of Gaza.
PPP chairman said if the world was under the impression that the objective of Greater Israel could be met by creating an Iraq-like situation in the Middle East, then Pakistan would lead the struggle to foil the Jewish state’s such designs.
Speaking on the occasion, Hafiz Naeem said that Israel had unleashed a reign of terror against innocent Palestinians. “There is no country in the world which could hold the Jewish state accountable for its sins,” he lamented.
The JI Ameer appealed to the people to come out of their homes on October 7 and voice their support for the victims of Israel’s atrocities.
He also urged the government to take whatever steps it could to rescue the people of Gaza.
He said he was pleased to meet Bilawal today.
Hafiz Naeem stressed the need for rising above political differences and getting united on the issue.
